 FROM THE PASTOR’S OFFICE

 

-          Happy new year to all Lusaka North Mission District Members.

 

• Today 4^th January, 2014 is prayer and fasting day. Please note that all first Sabbaths of every quarter (4^th January, 5^th April, 5^th July and 4^th October, 2014) are for prayer and fasting. This is a directive from CZC. 

• Today 4^th January, 2014 we are launching Evangelism, the year 2014 is the year for Evangelism. Fellow elders please let us see to it that we launch and support the vision of our mission throughout the year.

   

• 11^th January, 2014 will be Health Ministries day.

   

• We will have 10 days of prayers from 8^th to 18^th January, 2014 praying for the leadership, good health and the development of our  conference (CZC).

   

• All district departmental leaders to see to it that that they submit their 2014 Time Managements to the District Stewardship Secretary within two (2) weeks.

   

• There will be a seminar at City church on 12^th January, 2014 for VOP, SOP and publishing departments starting at 08:00 hrs. All leaders and elders in charge of these departments to attend.

   

• There will be Evangelism council at City churchon 12^th January, 2014 starting at08:00 hrs.

   

   

  Treasurers and Stewardship Secretaries

   

• There will be a joint seminar (Lusaka North and Emmasdale mission districts) for Treasurers and Stewardship Secretaries organized by CZC. Dates and venue to be communicated later.

• All church treasurers to submit the monthly Financial Reports to their Zone Auditors as follows:

• (i) Sr. Bbwantu will be at Chipata main with the following churches – Chipata main, Chipata North Mandevu Central and Ngwerere South

• (ii) Elder Miyoba will be at Ngwerere North with the following churches – Ngwrere North, Diamondale, Fumbelo and Enviro

• (iii) Elder Mwanamomba will be at Chazanga main with the following churches – Chazanga main, Chazanga North, Chazanga West and Chazanga Central

• (iv) Sr. Sitima and Elder Mulule will be at Chimwemwe main with the following churches – Chimwemwe main Chmwemwe East, Chimwemwe West Kabanana church and the branch.

   

  Music

• All district music leaders, both out-going and in-coming, to meet at Chimwemwe main tomorrow 5^th January, 2014 for handovers and Time Management Preparation. Time: 09:00 hours.

   

  Youth

• The district is welcoming the youths who just came

   back from the camp  meeting.

•  Some people lost their items (bag and mattress) if

   anyone is keeping any of these items kindly

   hand them over to elder Mpande.

•  All the master Guides to meet on Saturday at John

   Doris. Time 14:00hrs.

•  CZC youth council will be tomorrow (5^th January,

   2014) at City church at 09:00 hrs.

• All youth enrolments to be done on 11^th January,

  2014.

• The directive from the CZC youth director is that

  There are no fees attached to enrolments, unless as

  a local church you agree on a minimum

  amount not more than K5.00
