FROM THE PASTOR’S OFFICE

 

-          The pastor is in Livingstone for pastors’ meeting

 

  • Ordination of elders and deacons for LNM D will take place on 19th January, 2014. Time and venue to be communicated..Chimwemwe East church choir and Chipata main Church choir to prepare to come and Sing on the same occasion.

     

  • Administrative elders to make sure that elders and deacons to be ordained are informed I advance so that they do not miss the ordination.( All those who are married and are to be ordained to come with their spauses).

     

  • Today 11th January, 2014 is Health Ministries day.

     

  • We have 10 days of prayers from 8th to 18th January, 2014 praying for the leadership, good health and the development of our  conference (CZC).

     

  • There will be a seminar at City church tomorrow 12th January, 2014 for VOP, SOP and publishing departments starting at 08:00 hrs. All leaders and elders in charge of these departments to attend.

     

  • There will be Evangelism council at City church tomorrow 12th January, 2014 starting at08:00 hrs.

     

    Stewardship

  • The District Stewardship Leadership will have a meeting tomorrow 12th January, 2014 at Chimwemwe main starting 09:00 hrs to prepare the District Time Management for 2014. All district Leaders who have not submitted their Time Managements to do so by the same date (12/01/2014).

  • There will be a joint seminar(Lusaka North and Emmasdale Mission districts) for Treasurers and Stewardship Secretaries organized by CZC. Venue and dates to be communicated later

     

     

    Evangelism

  • Evangelism executive members(Out-going and in-coming) to meet today at Chimwemwe mainat 14:00 hrs.

 

 

Dorcas

  • There will be Dorcas  executive and council meeting on Wednesday 15th January, 2014 at Chimwemwe main (11:00 hrs executive meeting together with local church council and, 13:30 hrs council meeting).

  • There will be CZC Dorcas zone council on Wednesday 15th January, 2014 at Kasamba SDA church in Matero mission district at 13:00 hrs.

     

     

  • AMO

There will be AMO council meeting tomorrow 12th January, 2014 at Chimwemwe main at 09:00 hrs to discuss Time Management for 2014 (All men in LNMD to attend).

 

 

Youth

  • District AY handovers and youth council takes place tomorrow 12th January, 2014 at Chimwemwe main at 09:00 hrs. All out-going and in-coming district , local leaders and members to attend.

  • All youth enrolments to be done today 11th January, 2014.

  • The directive from CZC Youth Director is that there are no fees attached to the enrolments, unless as a local church you agree on a minimum amount not more than K5.00

  • The following are the centers for the churches Heritage classes: Kabanana churh, John Doris School, Chazanga main, Chipata main and Ngwerere North.

  • All those who wish to sit for the Church Heritage exam are advised to attend class at the nearest centre.

  • Date line for paying registration fees is month end of January, 2014.

  • All the MGs who have been assigned to conduct the enrolments should fill in the forms and come with them at the youth council and submit them to the Youth Secretary.
