FROM THE PASTOR’S OFFICE

The pastor is still out of the country and all communication to be done through the district executive secretary Elder John Majuru on 0979,214365, today he is at Chipata main SDA church.

The baptism has been postponed, date and venue to be advised later. Churches to prepare candidates in advance.

District Executive council will be on tomorrow 29/06/2014 time 08:30hrs to 11:30hrs at Chipata Main SDA church and District Council the same day and venue time 11:30 hrs to 14:00 hrs. Please observe time.

The latest Hope magazines are now available for cash. Admin Elders please take note and come with the cash. All those who did not finish paying for the previous copies to do so as you come for the meeting tomorrow.

Be reminded that next Sabbath the 5^th July, 2014 is Prayer and Fasting day.

Auditing

All local treasures to come for a meeting tomorrow at Chipata Main SDA, after the district council that is 14:30hrs and submit their financial report the same day to the Auditors.

All those who did not submit the stewardship reports to do so today to the district stewardship leader at Chimwemwe East SDA church.

Camp Meeting

There will be a Meeting for all Local Elder in charge of Camp Meeting, Local Chairperson Camp Meeting and district Camp Meeting leaders on 06/07/2014 at the Camp site, time 09hrs.

The Camp meeting will be from 10/08/14 to 16/08/14, all Local churches are required to deposit not less than half the amount of their goals by the end of June.

The main speaker for this year’s camp meeting is Pastor G. Kafuta from North Zambia field. Other speakers are Pastor E. Chimbo and Evangelist J. Fakazi.

Youth

All local youth leaders to submit their quarterly reports.

There will be Adventurer games day tomorrow the 29/06/2014 at SOS. Each church to contribute K100.

Church heritage exams will be on 20/07/2014, registration deadline is 30/06/2014. Deadline for payments is 30^th June, 2014 to be paid through Brother Mandopa at Chimwemwe West . The amount is K10 each.

All those writing church heritage exams should submit their age, contact numbers and church by texting to 0976127756 or direct to Brother Motrine Mutebele at Chimwemwe main church today.

Pathfinder exam results are out. Out of 30 people who sat for the exams, 22 passed and the list is attached.

The next Pathfinder exams will be on 7^th July. 2014. All those who did not write previous exams and those who failed are advised to write the exams.

The local pathfinder directors to get the number of candidates and forward to the area coordinator, Brother Paul Mulenga before 6^th July, 2014. The venue and time for the exams will be communicated later.

Each candidate to contribute K1.50 per each class before 6^th July, 2014

Adventurer games day will be tomorrow the 29^th June, 2014 at SOS. Carry parked lunch.

There will be Red Cross training on 20/07/2014 fees K50 only and those who are interested to register with the youth secretary.

There will be a Master Guide Camp in Luano Valley registration is K50. Total fees for the camp is k270 and all Local churches to sponsor two Master Guide by helping then with k100 each and the balance of k170 to be paid by the camper. Fees to be paid through Brother Matthew Mandopa at John Doris on 31/05/2014 time 16:00 hrs.

MUSIC

District Music Choir is still open to everyone who wants to join and the uniform is at k40, deadline for joining and buying the uniform is month end June 2014. For more details kindly get in touch with district music leaders.

Prayer Band

The District prayer band will worship at Chazanga centre today the 28/06/2014.

Dorcas

Dorcas Executive door to door visitation continues.

They will be Dorcas Executive meeting time 12:00 hrs and Dorcas district council at 13:30hrs at Chimwemwe main SDA on Monday 30/06/2014.

The Dorcas Councilors to promote and collect money for Livingstone tour and submit the funds to the district dorcas secretary.

Sabbath School

Local Sabbath Leaders to submit their quarterly report.

There will be Sabbath School meeting on 06/07/2014 at Chimwemwe Main SDA time 09:00 hrs.

Evangelism

Personal ministries secretaries to submit quarterly reports to the evangelism executive leader.

There will be Evangelism Executive meeting tomorrow at Chipata Main SDA together with the District Stewardship Leaders and the District Camp meeting leaders, time 14:30hrs, Agenda : Camp Meeting Promotion.

There will be Literature Evangelists beginners’ seminar starting on 06^th July, 2014 up to 10^rd July, 2014 at Chimwemwe SDA church.
