FROM THE PASTOR’S OFFICE
The pastor is still out of the country and all communication to be done through the District Executive Secretary Elder John Majuru on 0979,214365 who is at Chipata Main SDA.
The baptism has been postponed, date and venue to be advised later. Churches to prepare candidates in advance.
The latest Hope magazines are available for K10 cash. All Admin Elders to ensure that they buy 2 copies for their churches. The magazines are with Elder Lonje.
All Local churches to deposit more than half of the Camp Meeting Expenses in the district account within the week so that preparation can start at the Camp Site.
Camp Meeting
They will be a Meeting for all Local Elder in charge of Camp Meeting, Local Chairperson Camp Meeting and district Camp Meeting leaders on 06/07/2014 at the Camp site, time 09hrs.
The Camp meeting will be from 10/08/14 to 16/08/14, all Local churches are required to deposit not less than half the amount of their goals by the end of June.
The main speaker for this year’s camp meeting is Pastor G. Kafuta from North Zambia field. Other speakers are Pastor E. Chimbo and Evangelist J. Fakazi.
Youth
There will be pathfinder exams on Monday 7th July. 2014, starting time is 09:00 hrs. Please observe time. Centres are John Doris and Robert Dean schoolsAll those who did not write previous exams
and those who failed are advised to write the exams. Each candidate to contribute K1.50 per each class.
The following will be invigilators in their centers:
John Doris: Warren Munalula,Penina Moyo,Mickdad Jangia,Musonda Makanta, Mostapha Hapambali, Ime Mwanza and Collins Muleya.
Robert Dean: Shemi Chata, Dannis Kanyamuna, Lovewell Mwiinga, Hope Chansa, Sandie Tembo, Richard Sichilima and Musiwa Lizubuho.
CZC church heritage examswill be on 20th July, 2014 at the following centers:
City church and Thornpark.
Children’s Sabbath school this year at the camp meeting will be conducted by the Adventurers and Pathfinders Therefore, the area coordinators for these clubs should ensure that children are prepared starting now.
Dorcas
Dorcas Executive door to door visitation continues in Chazanga Area on 09/07/2014.
Sabbath School
There will be Sabbath School Meeting tomorrow the 06/07/2014 at Chimwemwe Main SDA time 09hrs, Each church to choose four (4) teachers according to the languages as follows: Bemba, Nyanja, Tonga and English, forward the names /church via sms 0975 109797 or come with the list of the names at the meeting.
Evangelism
There will be Literature Evangelists beginners’ seminar starting on 06th July, 2014 up to 10rd July, 2014 at Chimwemwe Main SDA church.
All trained Lay Preachers to meet at Chimwemwe main on 6th July, 2014 at 12:00 hrs. All evangelists who will miss this meeting will be dropped for promotions and be replaced. A list of preachers is attached.
AMO
There will be AMO district council meeting on Sunday 6th July, 2014 at Chipata main, All district leaders and local church AMO leaders to attend without fail.
