FROM THE PASTOR’S OFFICE

 

Greetings from the pastor.

 

The pastor is attending CZC meetings.

 

All those who did not manage to pay for the Hope magazine copies to do so to Elder Lonje or Elder Haguyu today.

 

The District is selling a good second hand sub massive pump at K2, 000 negotiable, those interested get in touch with Elder Mweemba on 0954 001230 / 0977 965400.

 

There will be elder’s board on the 03/08/2014 at Camp site time 10hrs.

Today the 26/07/2014 will have district camp meeting promotion in all Local Church, preachers to be sent by the district under evangelism department, local elders to co-operate and work together with the speakers.

 

 

Youth

All local Adventurer and Pathfinder club leaders to choose two (2) participants:

1.  from each club for Sabbath school at the camp meeting and submit the names tomorrow to Brother Sandie

2. All churches to choose two (2) directors; one from adventurers and one from Pathfinders to teach at the camp meeting

3. All church Heritage candidates to meet today at John Doris for final preparations.

 

 

 

There will be public assessment at UNZA SDA church on 2^nd August, 2014 for those who failed the previous assessment.

 

The district Youth executive Leaders and district Club area Coordinators to meet the District Secretary today the  26/07/2014 at Chazanga Main SDA, time 13:00 hrs. Agenda: Camp meeting program that is Children and youth day during the camp meeting week. Please observe time. 

 

 

Auditing

All local treasurers to close their financial books today the 26/07/2014 and make sure we deposit the funds by 30/07/2014 and submitted the report on Sabbath the 02/08/2014 to their Zone Auditors.

 

 

Camp Meeting

Work continues at the camp site on Sunday 27^th July, 2014. Churches to send mature and responsible persons who need little or no supervision. Picking points remain the same and food will be provided.

 

All local churches to make sure that the balance for camp meeting expense is deposited by 30/07/2014 this coming week please local elders monitor and see to it that this is done.

 

The Camp meeting will be from 10/08/14 to 16/08/14

 

The main speaker for this year’s camp meeting is Pastor EK Manjimela from

 

 

University Church Other speakers are Pastor E. Chimbo and Evangelist J. Fakazi.

 

Children Speakers: Main Speaker Elder Jonathan Mulenga from Emmasdale Mission District (Garden North SDA), Co- Speaker Steven Phiri Lusaka North Mission District (Chipata North SDA) and instructors our local Pathfinders and Adventurers’ Leaders.   

 

Theme for the camp meeting: “Behold He Cometh” and theme song: “At the Door”, Local hymn number 2.

 

 

Dorcas

All Dorcas Mothers going for a Family life trip to meet at Chimwemwe Main SDA time 07hrs.Please note that all Dorcas Mothers who are also Choir members in the Local Churches to Remain and support the District Music Audition tomorrow at Chipata Main SDA.

  Music

They will be district Music Audition on 27/07/2014 at Chipata Main SDA time 08hrs in preparation for Camp meeting and all singers to contribution k5 per singer.

HEALTH

All local church health leaders and one health worker to meet at Angels Clinic near Chazanga basic school time 08:30hrs on 03/08/2014 Agenda planning for camp meeting health issues.

 

 

Evangelism

All Literature Evangelist  will have a meeting at City Church tomorrow the 27/08/2014  time 08hrs with Pastor Chimbo.
